CUTTING TOOLS

HIGH FEED TURNING

We work hard to give you what you want. In this case it’s a chance to finish a job in record time. You have a modern machine, you’ve fixed it so that the component dimensions fit the latest trends in ‘near net shape’ machining. But what’s missing?

CAD/CAM

Knowledge Based Machining Boosts Productivity

PartMaker is the first practical Knowledge Based CAM system and averages a 70% time reduction in part programming. The software captures the operator's knowledge in programming repetitive part features such as holes, slots, pockets and contours.

ACCESSORIES

Counterbalanced 3-Jaw chucks

Hardinge is proud to introduce the complete lineup of Hardinge Sure-Grip precision, lever-operated, counterbalanced 3-Jaw chucks. These chucks are dynamically balanced to let you operate your CNC lathe at higher spindle speeds and feed rates with less concern for loss of jaw force due to counter-centrifugal forces.

METROLOGY

When Little Things Mean A Lot

There are thresholds beyond which the little things begin to loom large. All of physics works that way, in fact; at a certain small size, Newton’s laws no longer make sense, and you need to rely on quantum mechanics instead. There comes a point, in other words, where assumptions have to change, because effects that were previously ignored must now be taken seriously.
