Absolute Machine Tools Inc has acquired exclusive rights to the AccuteX wire EDM line and TOPEDM CNC EDM drills and diesinkers. As the exclusive distributor, AccuteX EDM, a division of Absolute Machine Tools, will be offering a complete line of wire EDMs to customers in the US and Canada.
The company says the the new partnership will expand Absolute’s already expansive product offerings. “We are giving our customers an even broader choice of metalworking solutions for their production needs with AccuteX and TOPEDMs. These systems provide excellent value for US manufacturers seeking economical and well-built machines. AccuteX has developed all of its EDM technology in-house and is well-known for its ground breaking and user friendly control, fine-wire diameter technology, and high-performance auto wire threading,” it says.
AccuteX also offers machine delivering 6-axis control with 5 axis simultaneous interpolation for aerospace and medical-class operating performance. As for TOPEDM, the company holds a number of invention patents. It is particularly excited about introducing a unique 8-axis CNC high –speed EDM drill to the US. This revolutionary machine is ideal for drilling deep holes in Inconel and make quite a splash in the aerospace market.
Ultra-high precision axes drives utilize direct-couple systems with no belts and all components are premium grade including ultra-finish ball screws and high-resolution servomotors with four millionths resolution. Glass scales are included as standard equipment.
Intelligent Servo Controlled Wire Threading Technology is standard and delivers fast threading times (10 seconds spark-to-spark). Automatic Wire Threading at wire break point eliminates need to return to start point, thereby maximizing real cutting time. The AWT also threads submerged so there is no need to drain the tank. Complex threading such as through multiple holes also poses no problem for the AWT, which makes these EDMs ideal for unmanned operation. The control is provided by a 64-Bit Windows based CNC control. A 15” display with full color 3D graphics is standard. For more information, contact cquillen@accutexEDM.com or visitwww.accutexedm.com.
