Eriez has put all the aspects of good coolant and fluid management to work in a single machine, the CRS Fluid Recycling System. The system can recycle any water-miscible fluid to its maximum potential and in doing so minimises or eliminates disposal, reduces usage of the fluid concentrate, and improves plant profitability and productivity. These systems range in size from small to large and feature low maintenance, unattended operation and fast return on investment.
In its standard form, it is designed for use with water-miscible coolant and cleaner products that reject tramp oils. The CRS 120SS supplies the basic requirements for fluid recycling and yet allows the flexibility to meet the customer’s future needs. It has a convenient side-by-side tank design and is equipped with the Coalescer for removing free and mechanically mixed tramp oils. The CRS 120SS can also be fitted with a high speed centrifuge (either initially or at a later date), which removes not only the free-floating and mechanically mixed tramp oil, but also those bacteria-feeding tramp oils that have been partially emulsified into the metalworking fluids.
The Eriez CRS 120ST includes even more features. Its stacked tank design is ideal for the shop trying to conserve floor space. With its standard high-speed centrifuge, this system allows for complete recycling of any metalworking coolant. Because the SED CRS 120ST uses a true high-speed centrifuge, only one pass through the system is necessary to remove tramp oils, particulate matter and a substantial portion of the bacterial population. Cleaning the fluid to this degree eliminates the need for expensive, energy-intensive coolant pasteurisation.
