Machine Tool Expo is a one-stop destination to address the manufacturing requirements of the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of various industry sectors in Tier II and Tier III cities of India. The show unveils the latest manufacturing technologies and solutions which would enable large industries and other small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to leverage and enhance their manufacturing capabilities. The expo will cover the entire gamut of metal working machine tools for both metal cutting and metal forming including automation and robotics, tooling systems, CAD/CAM and other technologies essential for today’s manufacturing.
The Delhi Machine Tool Expo displayed state-of-the-art technologies primarily focusing on manufacturing solutions from the industries located majorly from the northern region. Fervent business activities transpired at Delhi Machine Tool Expo 2017 post-inauguration. Dealer enquiries were solicited, trade leads were generated, amidst a lot of learning, information sharing in a business environment, thus culminating into a heightened euphoria for the gathered manufacturing industry.
The first edition of the Delhi Machine Tool Expo held in New Delhi on August 2015 was a phenomenal success. The strong presence of business visitors and policy makers from India made it truly a major event in the region.
North India is a hub for major engineering and machine tool industries. Manufacturers in the northern states such as Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, etc. look for a common platform to witness state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovations. These manufacturers, mostly from Tier II and Tier III cities of India, will find solutions for their manufacturing activities at Delhi Machine Tool Expo. The show gives an opportunity for the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) spread across north India to witness the global trends in machine tool industry. Delhi Machine Tool Expo 2017 will be a business-to-business (B2B) exhibition that would have the presence of industry delegations from automobiles, auto components, aerospace, capital goods, defence equipment, electrical/electronics, and many more sectors. The expo will provide the best platform for initiating business in light of the foreseen growth seen in the manufacturing sector.
Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) is organizing the second edition of its northern regional show — the Delhi Machine Tool Expo from 10 to 13 August 2017 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
The expo this time will also focus on Metrology and Welding. METROLOGY EXPO, an exhibition for the testing instrument, metrology and equipment and WELDEXPO, an exhibition for welding, cutting and joining, will be held concurrently.
With over 200 exhibitors occupying a gross exhibition area of around 12,000 sq.mts. in 3 halls (Hall 11, 12 and 12A), the expo will showcase state-of-the-art technologies focusing on manufacturing solutions for metal cutting and metal forming industries located in north India. The focus will be on the numerous small and medium enterprises spread across Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, etc.
Delegates from sectors such as capital goods, defence, aerospace, railways, automobiles, and much more are expected to visit the expo.
Apart from India, seven foreign countries: Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, USA, China, Taiwan and Australia are expected to participate. Three of these, China, Taiwan and USA will have group participation.
Stating his views about the expo IMTMA President P.G. Jadeja said, “The first edition of the expo organized in 2015 evoked a warm response with the presence of several domestic and international players. Manufacturers were able to expand their range. The second edition will enable them to build on the earlier success and reach out to the regional industries.”
Expressing about his expectations from the show, IMTMA Director General V. Anbu stated, “IMTMA is eyeing a bigger success in this edition. We expect a larger level of participation across various industry sectors and I am confident that the expo will continue to evolve in its future editions.”
