SPRING Technologies is presenting current solutions for maximizing NC machining centre productivity at the Hannover Messe Industrie (HMI). The French software manufacturer unveils the simulation solution NCSIMUL Machine 9.2 as well as the program management software NCSIMUL DNC 8.22 and the management tool NCSIMUL Tool 2.6.

'With our comprehensive solutions for NC processing centres, we increase the efficiency and flexibility of machining processes in the field of high precision manufacturing', explains Mr Olivier Bellaton, Managing Director at SPRING Technologies. “Companies can simulate production processes, avoiding production errors that cause damage to machinery and thus unnecessary costs in advance.”

Simulation software for the manufacturing of the future

With NCSIMUL Machine 9.2, companies control the global machining process. The software helps in the simulation, testing, optimization and modification of their machining programs. Thus, potential collisions can be traced, cutting conditions optimized and standardized technical content distributed in the production halls.

Version 9.2 comes with the following new features:

Improved analysis with time graphs to display the remaining time

New features for the composite module such as fibre-layup simulations

Enhanced user experience by downloading the latest product updates

From development to production, NCSIMUL Machine 9.2 offers users the possibility to assess their NC programs in three steps: NC program analysis, material layup simulation and result analysis. Thus, SPRING offers its customers a higher level of automation, security, and mobility.

Complete NC program management with a tool

The program management software NCSIMUL DNC 8.22 assists process engineers and workshop operators in the control of their NC applications. The solution enables the tracing of events that incorporate the work cycle of the program in all versions, stages and with all certifications. NCSIMUL DNC displays the machine status in real time and provides among other things information on performance, operational failures, downtime and setup. Other advantages of the software include:

Native support for OPC

Easy integration with other modules

Automatic loading of cutting tools in the machine

RS232 Series, Ethernet, NFS, Samba, FTP, and Mazak integrated as standard

NCSIMUL DNC reporting enables sophisticated monitoring processes. The data can be used for activity reports to analyze specific situations and create more efficient production planning.

Comprehensive maintenance reduces tool costs

In addition, SPRING presented the tool maintenance NCSIMUL Tool 2.6 in Hanover. The software is based on the extensive expertise of SPRING in the areas of metal cutting and digital processes. The software solution includes extensive maintenance capabilities for cutting tools, which are designed for professional use. NCSIMUL tool 2.6 has a ready to use, tool database configured according to DIN4000 and enables global maintenance of tool data such as 3D models, assemblies, components, part lists and cutting data, inventory, status, manufacturer data, etc.

Version 2.6 also offers new features::

Import data from the cloud software Machining Cloud

Improved user experience through more intuitive use

With interfaces to all major CAD/CAM systems and ease of control and/or connection to test and measurement equipment and storage facilities, NCSIMUL Tool 2.6 demonstrates its high flexibility for tool maintenance. SPRING demonstrates to visitors at the HMI at stand B10 in Hall 8 its extensive product portfolio, with which the software manufacturer optimizes the productivity of NC machining centers.
