Hypertherm, the manufacturer of advanced cutting systems, is pleased to introduce a new plasma cutting system. Hypertherm has come up with several of the latest enhanced capabilities for its HyPerformance HPRXD product line, giving end users more options and flexibility for multiple cutting applications. Its advanced technologies True Bevel, Rapid Part and True Hole that are part of Hypertherm’s Built for Business Integrated Cutting Solutions platform – a combination of hardware and CAM nesting software providing revolutionary performance.
True Bevel technology for HPRXD plasma systems is a NEW performance application for mild steel that simplifies the bevel-cutting process. Parameter values for several processes are available. Output values for angle compensation, kerf, cut height, cut speed and arc voltage are set which makes setup for new jobs fast and results accurate. With Rapid Part technology, Hypertherm products integrate seamlessly to significantly increase productivity, without operator intervention.
Motion optimisation techniques are programmed into the part programme and are automatically executed by the computer numerical control (CNC). True Hole cutting technology for mild steel produces significantly better hole quality than what has been previously possible using plasma – also delivered automatically without operator intervention.
The complete Powermax family comes with an addition of an entirely NEW plasma cutting and gouging system which will make its global debut at Schweissen & Schneiden 2013. It will be the most powerful Powermax system ever shown.
For the first time, since the acquisition of Accustream (manufacturer of waterjet cutting products) early 2013, Hypertherm also has waterjet cutting products. In addition to these new products and technologies, the company also has HyIntensity Fiber Laser systems, its complete CAM nesting software line, automation products as well as torch and consumable technologies from Hypertherm and its Centricut brand.
“Hypertherm is 100% focused on developing and manufacturing high performance products which improve cutting. Providing our customers with the best cutting equipment and service in the industry is our mission,” said Mr Theo Cornielje, Regional Director for the EMEA region. “The acquisition advanced us in our strategy to provide customer with the optimum cutting technology. Whether plasma, laser or waterjet is required for their particular cutting application, we offer the solution. We are really proud that we can demonstrate our wide product offering, new systems and latest technologies for welding and cutting,” he added.
