With over 25 years of successful business relationship, NACHI-Fujikoshi Corporation has now partnered with Dubai-based KG International FZCO to build an automobile bearing factory Nachi KG Technology India Private Limited based at Neemrana in Rajasthan.
This strategic alliance has been formed to leverage from the manufacturing strengths of Nachi Fujikoshi Corporation, Japan and compliment it with marketing and distribution strength of KG International FZCO. The company serves as a base for local production of Nachi Bearings and aims to enhance the market share of NACHI Brand in India.
Nachi KG technology Pvt Ltd has been incorporated in India with an objective of manufacturing high quality Ball & Roller Bearings to serve the ever growing Indian market. Nachi Bearings are made from the finest material in a state of art, modern manufacturing facility and its focus is to enhance market share of Nachi products in India and at the same time provide world class bearings to India OEMs in the industrial and automotive sector.
With the Indian economy poised to grow at an exponential rate, the company is dedicated to enhance compatibility and capacity in line with the Indian market requirements. In conversation with CNCTimes.com during IMTEX Forming, 2016, the Managing Director of Nachi KG Technology India Pvt Ltd, Mr. Hiroaki Kobayashi said, “Indian market is very important for Nachi as far as expanding the business in this part of the world is concerned. Though we are very new to this market as we started our operations just three years ago, we are studying the market and its behavioral pattern, but one thing is sure that this market has got tremendous potential to compete with the best in the industry globally.”
Mr. Kobayashi agreed that Indian market is price sensitive and the cost factor always plays an important role while selecting any technology. “However, I think the Indian market is very open and this trend will change in couple of years. It has to change since the Union Government and other agencies are coming up with some attractive schemes so as to promote the technology,” Mr. Kobayashi said and added that the market needs some time to response to these initiatives.
About Nachi’s vision as regards India, Mr. Kobayashi said, “Expansion of our 140-member strong team is certainly on our cards. We are committed to provide the know-how of this technology to our customers and will continue to do so. Besides, we will also be upgrading our bearing plant at Neemrana and cutting tool manufacturing plant at Manesar near New Delhi,” Mr. Kobayashi signed off.
